Plan No. 122

1908 Bungalows by V. W. Voorhees of SEattle

No. 122 has a great many charming bungalow features including the gracefully tapering porch columns, eyebrow roof vent, rustic and exposed beams and rafter tails. A central hall is the axis to which all rooms open, though we admit we don't love the potential view of the bathroom from the entry. It's likely that later iterations of this plan may have corrected that deficiency. The enormous porch wraps the house and provides access to the front entry but also permits access from the dining room. Room sizes are larger than average which seems typical for Voorhees' designs.
