Plan No. 40B

1908 Bungalows by V. W. Voorhees of SEattle

Plan No. 40B was one of several floor plans with this exterior treatment. In addition to the two bedrooms and bath on the main floor, accommodation for three more bedrooms existed for the second. It was designed with a concrete basement, Douglas fir woodword including beamed ceilings and wainscot in the living room, and a large walk-in closet off the vestibule. It's an unusual plan for Voorhees as he left out the pantry and made the kitchen larger than usual.
