1915 Ready Built House Company of Portland, Oregon
Plan number 180 has a broad front porch that stretches across the full width of this otherwise small house plan. The living room and dining room provide a vista of 38 feet with the fireplace providing the focus and anchor at one end. Two small bedrooms open on to a sleeping porch and share the Jack and Jill bathroom. The plan, renamed the Alabama in the 1921 catalog, remained the essentially the same losing the sleeping porch, but gaining a small back porch off the kitchen.
