Plan No. 178
1915 Ready Built House Company of Portland, Oregon
Ready Built, like other kit home companies, tended to develop several plans around a similar theme. No. 178 is similar to others with a layout that has a large central living room that extends the depth of the house. On one side are the bedrooms, which open directly off the living room and on the other side are the dining room and kitchen. This plan appeared unchanged as the Carolina in the 1921 catalog.
